Georgia Compensatory Educational Leaders, Inc.

Georgia Compensatory Educational Leaders Incorporated was initiated and organized by concerned educators who envisioned the compensatory programs of Title I, Special Education, Remedial Education, Early Intervention (formerly SIA), Migrant Education, English to Speakers of Other Languages, and the Neglected and Delinquent Program as vital instructional components to the total education process. The organization plans and advocates for programs that assist children who are developmentally delayed, experientially deprived, slow learners, and/or bright underachievers. GCEL, Inc. Members are actively involved in promoting people, programs, and policies that are supportive of positive growth for these children.
