The five stars on each side of the Logo represent the five program areas of compensatory education: Title I, Remedial Education Program, Early Intervention Program (formerly SIA), Migrant Education Program, English to Speakers of Other Languages Program and the Neglected and Delinquent Program.  The figure of the adult and child embracing symbolizes the equality of education for all Georgians.
